The ad list is a way to export your customized dashboard into excel so you can pivot the data even further. If you do not know how to pivot your data into pivot tables, you can use this template.
Business questions answered using this template are:
What is my competitors' spend by product?
What is my competitors' spend by media type?
What is my competitors' spend by media type for each of their products?
How many occurrences did my competitor run?
How many occurrences ran for my competitors' product?
How many creatives ran for my competitors' products?
Directions on how to use the template:
Export your data as the Ad List - XLS format from the Dashboard.
In the template, clear the previous data in the Data worksheet. Click in cell B3 and then arrow over to A3, highlight all previous data and delete.
Copy the data from the downloaded excel into the data worksheet in this template. Make sure the columns match or your data will be affected.
Click the Refresh All (Ctrl + Alt + F5) Button from the Data tool bar.
Before you review each Pivot Table, select a cell in the Pivot Table, then select the Change Data Source button from the Pivot Table Analyze tab in the ribbon. Then in the pop-up box, ensure all your columns and rows are in the Table/Range box.
