Ad Intel Library

Search, preview, and purchase advertising creatives outside your competitive set in Magnifier.

Written by Customer Support

The Ad Intel Library allows you to discover and purchase advertising creatives from advertisers and industries outside your current competitive set.

Whether you're exploring creative campaigns from other industries, researching emerging advertising trends, or looking for inspiration beyond your competitors, the Ad Intel Library provides access to additional advertising creatives and supporting details without requiring you to expand your existing competitive set.

Creatives available in the Ad Intel Library are considered out-of-access, meaning they belong to advertisers that are not included in your current Dashboard or Reports access.

You can search and preview these creatives before purchasing them to unlock additional information, including available spend data, market details, and full-resolution creative assets.

Searching for Advertising Creatives

To begin, select Ad Intel Library from the left-side navigation menu.

The search functionality is similar to the Magnifier Dashboard, allowing you to locate creatives using keywords and additional filters.

Enter a keyword in the search bar to find ads by advertiser, visual elements, descriptions, or other relevant terms.

Select an Ad Status and Date Range to narrow your search.

Click + Refine Search to apply additional filters, such as Media, Category, Parent Advertiser, Advertiser, Product, or Ad Code.

Once you've selected your filters, click Search to display matching creatives.

Your results will appear in the Ad List, where you can explore creatives across different media types.

Viewing Your Search Results

The Ad Intel Library offers three ways to view your search results, depending on how you prefer to explore advertising creatives.

  • Table View: Displays creatives in a spreadsheet-style format, making it easy to review and compare details such as advertiser, product, media type, first run date, and occurrences.

  • Thumbnail View: Displays creatives as images, allowing you to quickly browse and visually compare advertising campaigns.

  • Details View: Combines creative previews with additional metadata, providing a more comprehensive view of each advertisement.

You can also customize the information displayed in your results using Field Options to add additional data fields.

Exploring Creative Details

Selecting a creative allows you to examine its content and available advertising information before making a purchase.

Within the Creative Details window, you can explore several tabs:

View Ad

Preview the advertising creative to better understand its messaging, imagery, and overall execution.

For television creatives, a shortened five-second preview is available before purchase. The full creative becomes available after purchase.

Creative previews are displayed in a lower resolution until purchased.

Markets

Explore the Markets tab to access market-related information associated with the creative.

Market details are hidden until the creative has been purchased.

More Details

Review additional information about the advertisement, which may include:

  • Advertiser and product information

  • Media type and placement

  • First and last run dates

  • Advertising occurrences

  • Category and subcategory

  • Creative descriptions and messaging details

Certain information, including advertising spend, remains hidden until purchase.

Note: Spend information is not collected for every media type. When a field displays N/A, it indicates that spend data is unavailable for that media type rather than being hidden behind a purchase.

Related Ads

Use Related Ads to discover additional versions of the same advertising campaign.

This may include creatives appearing across different media types or alternate versions and recuts of an existing advertisement.

Related Ads can help you understand how an advertiser adapts its creative messaging across placements and formats.

Selecting Creatives for Purchase

Once you've identified the creatives you want to purchase, you can add them to your cart.

Select the checkbox next to each creative in the Ad List.

To select all creatives displayed on the current page, use the Select All checkbox in the upper-left corner of the table.

Continue selecting creatives across multiple pages, if needed.

Click Checkout & Export located in the lower-right corner, then click the Cart icon to review your selections and proceed to checkout.

You can display 10, 20, 50, or 100 creatives per page and add up to 250 creatives to your cart.|

You can also select Add to Cart directly from an individual creative's details window.

Before purchasing, you have the option to Export a list of selected creatives in Excel and PowerPoint formats for review.

Purchasing and Downloading Creatives

After adding your selected creatives to the cart, the checkout process guides you through verifying your selections, choosing an export format, and submitting payment.

Step 1: Verify Your Selection

Review the creatives in your cart and confirm that you want to purchase each item.

The price of each creative is displayed during checkout and may vary depending on the advertisement.

If you no longer want to purchase a particular creative, deselect it before proceeding.

Once you've reviewed your selections and pricing, click Continue to Checkout.
