Connected TV (CTV) refers to devices that are connected to the Internet and allow viewers to stream videos and music, and browse the web. Advertising-Based Video on Demand (AVOD)/OTT is free to consumers but in exchange advertisements are played with the content (i.e. Hulu, Peacock, Tubi, Paramount +)

CTV/AVOD Questions

Q: What streaming platforms do you currently collect?

A: Netflix, Max, Hulu, Paramount+, Peacock, Pluto TV, VIX, Disney+, Tubi.

Discovery + through Dec 2024.

Q: Does OTT/AVOD data represent live viewing differently from on demand viewing?

A: Paramount +, Hulu, and Peacock all provide live viewing options. We currently do not capture the live ad component due to the fact that live ads are sold and served differently (often done through networks directly) when compared to on demand streaming video viewing.

Q: Is spend data currently available?

A: Yes, spend data is currently available.

Q: How will this data be delivered and how often will it be updated?
A: The data is refreshed weekly and will be provided in a Dashboard. You can access your Dashboard via the Vivvix platform.

Q: Will there be breaking ad alerts for OTT/AVOD?

A: Not currently.
